As the Automotive OEM’s business expands, the addition of two new sites necessitates robust data connectivity for the ERP solution. Beyond mere connectivity, there is a pressing need to optimize the storage of data generated by both the R&D team and production units, accompanied by a proactive strategy to minimize the risk of data loss.

Addressing the geographical challenge of one site being located 2 miles away, we implemented long-range WIFI routers supplemented by firewall appliances. For the remaining two facilities, a fiber backbone was introduced to mitigate the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in production units.

To ensure data resilience and redundancy, two NAS servers were strategically configured across different sites with seamless replication protocols aligned with our risk mitigation strategy, developed in collaboration with the OEM. Additionally, a cloud backup solution was seamlessly integrated to facilitate cold backups, further enhancing our data security measures.
